I stumbled onto #nostr over on TikTok during discussion of our collective need for a decentralized social media platform that allows us to maintain digital ownership of our accounts and not be subject to the whims of the algorithms.

So for some reason I haven’t been able to follow anyone? I press the button and it seems to change state (to say “unfollow”) but then when I go back to my profile it still says following zero.. hmm. I just got my NIP-05 so maybe that will help… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Did you try with another app?
I tried with Damus and it’s the same :(
I'm the opposite on an expert in this #nostr world. Try with the hashtag #help would be my next recommendation. 😂
😊 what’s even more funny is I used to work in tech support for an app myself 😅 surely I can figure this out. I’m going to try logging onto a desktop client tomorrow and see if that magically helps me.
This means compared to me you must be a tech expert. So actually I should ask you about issues. 😅
