nostr does not have strict data availability guarantees which fucks with the heads of technical folks but since anyone can store verifiable posts - any post someone finds valuable will likely have redundant copies globally

it is effectively the streisand effect protocolized

I'd really like to have a program on my start9 which automatically logs all the notes from people I follow and notes that I post, like or zap.

#Torrent, #Bitcoin, #Nostr. The best technologies I’ve ever used are all decentralized.

i dunno

seems likely to become a hub-and-spoke network, no?

AS WE ONLY USE NOSTR WE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW X WAS DOWN

FEELS GOOD

ENJOY THE NOISE

This is correct.

People mistakingly think the redundancy is only through the relays, but it also includes browser caches, downloads, and databases. Because the events are atomic, they can be verified, even if they are removed from the network.
