Is my npub broken? Almost all of the npubs I followed disappeared out of my following list and I can’t refollow them or anyone new I find. I’m stuck following the 44 npubs that didn’t drop off of my following list and I can’t seem to add any. Any help is appreciated.

Be specific which client you used or apps you signed into. Npub itself can not be broken it's a cryptographic public key.
I’m almost always on Primal. Problem occurred after jumping on Damus for a day. Noticed it after switching back to Primal but still have the problem when using Damus
There's no central servers to pull followers list from a database on Nostr. It all depends how the client handle and pull your followers from relays. Try not to be attached too much on a follow and followers list on Nostr because the numbers are never real. I give 0 attention to this stats.
I wasn’t concerned with the list itself, I was concerned that I couldn’t follow anyone and out of the 44 people I still followed about 5 of them posted regularly and that’s all I would see in my feed. I signed out then signed back in and now I’m able to follow people again. Thanks for trying to help
Yeah, that's related. If the app doesn't see your follows then it also doesn't see their notes. But it depends how the app handle that.
