All free people, wherever they may live, are citizens of Berlin. "Ich bin ein Berliner" was long the proudest boats in the world of freedom.

Today, it is "Ich bin ein Bitcoiner."

We therefore invite all bitcoiners and the bitcurious to come to this city of Berlin and join us in a summer celebration of freedom 7-9 June.

The original Room 77 remains closed until the last block is mined, but Berlin has new bars, restaurants and clubs that accept Bitcoin.

The event will be focused on bonding new and old bitcoiners through socials, activities and experiences. This is NOT a conference, but you are invited to offer seminars and workshops at our venue.

After the event ends, we will organise joint travel from Berlin to Prague, where @BTCprague (code ERIK for discount) kicks off on 13 June.

There will not be a website or regular ticket sales, as we want to keep this event word of mouth. If you didn't hear about it, you probably shouldn't come. So please pass this on to someone who should.

If you or your organisation would like to support or contribute to the event, please reach out by DM. We are open sourcing everything.

To sign up or support, simply send or zap 42k sats or more to kongeriket@getalby.com including your preferred email (must be valid for info) in the note.

If you don't know how to do that, you should probably learn before you decide to come 😉

Welcome to Berlin, plebs.

This invitation, while welcoming, reads like you need a certain SATturation to be a Berliner pleb. I am not a donut.

A thee day event if not free to organize. 30$ (current price) is about as cheap as we can make it. And by pricing in sats it'll probably be cheaper the sooner you sign up.

Wow, I did not expect a response there. Well, I have to say, if it is $30, then I could actually, probably afford that, actually. Then, it is just a case of booking flights, transfers and accommodation.

Thankyou for your response, I will look into it.

Happy to help you find accomodation and routes. If you're going to BTCPrague, we're doing joint travel after the meetup too. We'll be putting out more info and recommendations soon.
