Perfect day in the mid 80s.

You are 13 years old, you check your quarter stash and have 3.75 in quarters, dad comes home says "we are going to Pizza Hut for dinner".

You get there, they are throwing dough in the air, the salad bar is full and there is a new pinball machine next to the sit down Galaga, Mrs. Pacman and Space Invaders Machines. "Money For Nothing" by Dire Straits is thumping on the Juke Box.

In walks your best friend and his family who is sat one table away from you. You push the tables together, dad orders two pitchers of beer and you know this will go on for 2-3 hours.

Dad puts down a 35 bucks at the end of the night, which includes a 7 dollar tip to the server.

This is what they took from you!

Our civilization just about at its peak

Fiat destroyed this.

There's an old school pizza inn in dfw somewhere. Galaga and Mrs pacman on a tabletop. Its pretty cool, I think theyre going to try to bring back the jukebox in the next year.

MPHGA… Make Pizza Hut Great Again! 😉✌️

I’m a 90s kid. Most of my experience at pizza hut came in the 5th grade when our teachers would take the 6-7 best readers that month to Pizza Hut after school. Got to go pretty much every month. Not out of the whole 5th grade. Just the two class rooms that swapped teachers part of the way through each day. Good times.

Many high school dates in the mid-80’s, with that exact scenery. Good times.
