Just torrenr and open the files. You don't need Jellyfin tbh.

I use it mostly to play the videos on the tv. And to stream the music library on other devices

Unpopular opinion. Home servers are pointless, besides running a Bitcoin node.

Actually I think that's quite a popular opinion. I know quite a few people who think the same.

I'm on the fence but I certainly don't think you're in a minority there.
