Same. Three. We don’t produce for sales. Home use, friends, and donations. Considering more.
I only take what we need, I don't rob the hives dry. And we use for home and give to friends. I get asked all the time why I don't sell and market my honey - the main reason is it's a "hobby" not a business!
Yeah! Those bees will work you even if you think you’re the keeper; word, THEY ARE!
Best to leave at least one super on the hive body for them to over-winter, but each hive can be different and that can cause robbing, if they get to weak to defend that super. Bees live in their own world for sure ♡

120, maybe less once we get to all six yards. We have boxes for 150, but we are scaling back to 80, cause we gettin’ old and it is long hot hard work during the harvests. Beekeeping is a joy, until you get popular and have more than you can say grace over, then, it’s a job.
