Rome never runs out of tourists. Though over the years I’ve learned to navigate away from the madness and still enjoy it.
It’s all timing and knowing the little alleyways away from the crowds. Sure I’ll get lost sometimes but I learn a thing or two. Mostly discover a new shop I’ve never been to that sells leather goods or maritozzi.

Never been, stopped in Florence once and that’s all of Italy I know.. We were just talking about taking the family to Rome/Italy the other day.
There’s so much history here that’s worth seeing at least once. 🙂 I say go for it.
My girl friend got groped in Rome on the bus and didn’t do anything about it. I would’ve punched him!

Sadly true! Altho I do think the likelihood of it happening and the frequency depends on which country; variances in how the boys & men are raised and what is standard & acceptable in treatment of girls & women.
There are definitely countries in 🌎🌏🌍 that I would NEVER EVER travel solo.
