インドで仏教が一時期廃れた理由、ヒンドゥー教は女の神様が多いからだと思ってる

Why?
In parts of Tamilnadu, Buddhism & Jainism flourished and in fact some key Tamil literature (Silappatikaram and Manimekalai) have significant Buddhist elements in them. In Manimekalai the crux of the story is around the protagonist's pursuit of Buddhism, eschewing the family life or the courtesan life which were the main options available for women in the era.
But the decline had more to do with the patronage of the kings and hence places of worship more going towards Bhakti movement & other religions.
You are right, my comment was half a joke.
I was just being sarcastic about the fact that there are so few women in Buddhist biographies……😅
If Ren-san wants to have a language goal for next year, pick Tamil (it will not help you much for world travel) but the literature is phenomenal.
Manimekalai is a female Buddhist monk. Also, when I visited Thiksey monastery, while I didn't see female monks, the monastery museum had some letters and notes about them
