Makes me wonder, how does one curate the "Nostr Report" when they mute most of Nostr, and tell people to post less? π€
Maybe we need to spin up a cool kids club alternative for people the popular Nostriches don't want to hear from? Call it the Mutestr Report. Stuff that happens on the dirty underbelly of the protocol, lives of the unwashed masses.

The meme begged to be done, sir! I don't know if other clients do this, but when you're on a #mute list, Amethyst shows a notification when someone you follow gets added as well. Aside from the bots, your list looks about like my follow list π
Lol Amethyst trying to stir up some drama π I know Damus and Plebstr at least donβt show that. Those are the 2 that I use most. Not sure about other clients. You mute someone in Damus and theyβre just kind of gone unless someone reposts them or theyβre tagged in a thread with you. And thereβs no way of knowing who muted you or who else is muted without looking it up on listr or something, or you just notice theyβre not interacting with you any more and put 2 and 2 together. Maybe once lists are better supported in Damus that will become a thing. The transparency of seeing who someone else has muted is an interesting dynamic m. I think some people are making assumptions about what it means that arenβt always accurate.
I think it's an odd glitch, because the notifications disappear after a bit unless someone replies to it π
