Adulthood...

Deciding that maybe it's time to get a new new carpet cleaner because the one that you've had has been broken (but mostly functional) for about 6 years. So, you shop around and find one that looks okay.

Before ordering said carpet cleaner you decide to take apart your vacuum cleaner (because it's not doing such a great job anymore) to clean all the crevices... And realize that the hose is cracked.

I guess my carpet cleaner is on the back burner for a little while while I shop for a new vacuum cleaner 😭
