I noticed on your profile that you're a radiologist, and I have seen quite a few docs have joined nostr, which is awesome. I worked as a CT and xray tech for a long time, but quit when covid happened, just couldnt tolerate all the bs anymore. The radiologists I worked with were some of the coolest people I ever came across. Its just neat to see other medical folks on nostr.
Our hospital was forced to half-heartedly parrot the federal government vax nonsense…and despite granting religious exemptions on a near rubber stamp basis, we still we lost a ton of CT techs, nurses, etc when pandemic was at its worst. We haven’t gotten back to full staff in CT and have a ton of travelers.
If you want to work in AZ, there’s a lot of open spots! Our group is unusual in that we all trained in SW MN.
Yes I think most hospitals are in the same boat. Then our little rural hospital here closed down recently, financial problems. But I'm done with all that, I just want to maybe find a tree nursery and work part time watering trees.😊
