I didn’t fully realize this was no longer a thing until right now, RIP

Yeah almost no publication has a comment section under their articles anymore

Someone should post a news article about comments on news articles disappearing, and allow comments

The more the media started lying, the more dangerous the comments section became.

I used to read Yahoo articles just for the comments. I always thought to myself, I can’t believe they allow these given the ratios on every article.

It still is where I live.

Definitely not the case in the US.

But often they have to close the feed down when plebs go hard on the topic.

comments and dislikes. those were the days. literally every article ratioed to shit.

It was a thing of beauty.

Well there’s a NYT nostr feed whose articles that I rudely respond to. Feelz good man!
