It’s always going to be a hamster wheel for 90% of people.
It’s very easy in theory to live below your means and save as your income goes up, but the lifestyle always creeps in.
Say you work for a living earning a $100k salary. You work 2000 hours in the year. Ppl see that as a $50 hourly rate.
The real hourly rate relates to what you can keep.
Save $10k? Your hourly rate was $5 that year.
Save $20k? You earned $10 per hour.
Any high salary but saving $0 = ppl earning $0 / hour, working for free ☠️
