I tune out all of this stuff, including hype about ETFs and such as well. I only look at charts.
Many of these developers and projects talk a good game, but again, it never materialises. Of course I'm open to being wrong, but from my perspective it is incredibly risky. I know a few people who put a significant amount of their savings into Cardano some years back, held through the pumps where they were up almost 300%, and are now in significant draw down on their valuable savings.
This is the kind of risk people have to be willing to take, and I really advise against it because it has never worked out in the past, so all one really has to go on is the words of those making these 'promises'
We could discuss many 'utility' aspects of all sorts of projects, but not a single one has managed to defy the odds and I really don't see that changing anytime soon.
If memory serves me correctly, Hoskins has insulted people in the past. I try not to do that, I'm just adding my perspective. I think people should be free to make their own decisions without ridicule, but they should also consider the other side - how bad it would be if they are wrong.
Please, be very careful with large sums on any projects.
