Piling on, Brother, I think a COOL way to accomplish what you suggest would be for apps to interoperate: Each app would advertise it's API, and other apps could plug in or connect, allowing data and legit control information to flow freely among all connected apps...

I know this is already being done, and hope it will be extended.😃

I can see how saying there should be one app to rule them all seems to go against the decentralized ethos of Nostr and could be discouraging to other devs. So perhaps modularity and plug-and-play interoperability is the way to achieve the super, killer app.
