That is a good point. Kids in general are spending too much time in front of screens too, IMO.

How much is attributed to not spending enough time outside in the dirt?

Absolutely, I rarely feel better as a parent than when my kids are playing in the backyard, making “soup” from sticks and leaves.

I was into fantasy/ magic stuff as a kid, so I would make 'potions' out of mud and weeds. It seems appropriate that I am now into herbalism and foraging.
