GM frens! My node told me fees were low so I took the chance to consolidate a bunch of small utxos and now I feel at peace with the world and will sleep better tonight. I do worry about DCA bitcoiners, I hope people are on top of this. In a high fee environment small amounts are going to be very hard to send

Typically people that DCA don't actually create a new UTXO every day. They just purchase on a fixed schedule on an exchange and then move it off the exchange into their own wallet periodically.
Yeah, I think this is an important nuance that isn’t really talked about though. That works great for custodial services and it’s a big plus for them, small DCA buys then a sweep to storage at some later trigger. But everyone hates custodial service providers. The Bitcoin in this example was via Relai, who offer DCA and a non-Custodial wallet. All options have merits but it’s tiring having to try to explain them all to someone you’ve eventually persuaded to just get off zero! 🤣
