We're not going to dollar-sat parity. Just look at the absurd population in China and India - the vast majority has basically nothing in savings or purchasing power. When everyone is onboard in some way, one sat will be worth a lot. Many dollars... Maybe an unbelievable number of dollars, yes even in today's value. It doesn't matter if you have very little #Bitcoin right now - a tiny amount will easily take care of you in the future. Get some, sock it away, then spend as much time as you need to learn how to use it. But get some first.

1 Million = 1 sat per cent

10 million = 1 sat per 10 cent

100 million = 1 sat per dollar

I like your optimism. I'm also always amazed at how it's possible to zap 1 Satoshi. How does it pay for the fee?

I guess the better question is where are the fees when I zap on Nostr as opposed to pay with lightning. I've never tested sending 1 Satoshi on lightning

It seems like it considers the zap to be the fee, but I know that I get 1 satoshi zaps and it is not 0 satoshis when it gets to me.

Idk, but I'd be very interested in findout out...

Yeah I don't think it stops at 100 mil per "coin." I think it keeps going and it will baffle a lot of people. I think even if you add up all the debt in the world and all the equity and all the savings (bring redundant now), then divide by 21 mil, that's where most people think it's going, and I think they're wrong. It will keep going.

There's a virtuous cycle between savings and production - that's going to go bonkers. Bitcoin is coming at exactly the same time that access to file sharing and 3d printing. Bitcoin also will demonetize real estate. So unprecedented access to local production, the entirety of human knowledge available to everyone, and land will get cheap... The living standard will explode, globally. The present value of billions of dollars will be the value of one whole coin.

So... When the God candle hits, don't sell. A lot of people are going to trade their sats for nice stuff, and then they're going to be really mad that it completely defies logic and keeps going up. Its not one God candle - its a God candle over and over and over.

The living standard exploding --> I love this engineering mindset of abundance.

God candles= supercycle?

Er um hmm

Define super cycle? Heard before, but suddenly unsure

I think it's the idea that the Plan B 4 year cycles are broken and it just goes up and to the right.

This is my favorite chart with the market psychology, 4 year cycle and the BTC price from Rational Root

Love that diagram thingy

Yeah it's crazy how it fits in 4 year cycles up til now. Maybe there's some sort of logical proof that could indicate the future. If the system has one element that changes every 4 years, then the outcome must be an echo of previous ones or something.

My basic understanding is that the quicker BTC grows in USD, the more the volatility also has to increase (otherwise people would just leverage and everyone would be winners.

So I think a supercycle would just be 80% drawdowns that no longer take 2 years to gain back. So maybe the measurement between crests of the waves gets shorter even as waves gets taller?🤔

I may need to go to a swimming pool to test.

Thats a new way to look at it, for me... Hmm.

it also reminds me of the shape of the spiral waves of the galactic magnetic sheet, which compound with each other as they propagate outwards and become more and more choppy at the edges

which also fits what i was saying about how the halving creates a shockwave, and the shockwaves of previous cycles reverberate again in their effects in the subsequent cycles, compounding their strength and increasing complexity

I feel like I’m living in two different worlds:

On nostr: incredible bullish Bitcoin predictions

Outside of nostr: what’s Bitcoin?

One world must grow and one world must die
