Plebs running nodes does not change the fact that MS holds an incredible amount of wealth which will be even greater if and when the orange coin does what we think it will. He may not be able to change the code as the meme implies, not that he would even want to, but all that wealth can and most definitely will be used to shape meat space around us, which is the point of noting how many sats the company holds.
not gonna agree. it makes a huge difference. at one point he will sell some. ms is earlier than others, it’s his right to buy all the bitcoin.
If you think he will use the bitcoin to try to influence the protocol negatively, then sure having a decentralized network makes a difference. But that’s not point in noting their wealth, which is what I was getting at. And in that case node runners or not makes no difference
I got your point. But wealth distribution is not the controlling part of a node runner. As you said negotiate negative influence/proposals what ever from ultra rich people is.🤝
