The Authoritarian boot is slamming down fast
NY, CA, WA and OR are the tip of the spear for commie agendas, authoritarian legalese and erosion of rights and freedom. Just awful.
Hahah no fucking way.
They are turning over every stone looking for revenue where they can. Fines, taxes, etc.
Politics aside they have a fuck ton of people arriving and are paying for them, while a huge piece of the tax base has provably left over the last 3 years.
All our local leaders are doing are begging the fed for printed dollars and ticketing for anything and everything.

NYC has budget issues but they want to use their toys on the stupidest way possible.
No way this is going to be more practical than sending a patrol car for a noise complaint. Who knows what they are going to be looking for.

The government, consisting of an apparatus of people who believe they are doing the 'right thing' out of fear, will not fuck off anytime soon. We and all the 'right doers' need to understand where our motivation to act really comes from deep within. What we can do is to take the wind from the sails of people who think that only an outside centralized entity can bring 'order'. For example by cheating ourselves using decentralized technology such as Bitcoin and Nostr.
But eventually, this is an indvidual inward journey, a rise to consciousness ... and we can support each other.
