Going to your content display settings and switching off “auto-play videos” would reduce the amount of data you’re using.
Primal shouldn’t use more data than any other of the Nostr clients. If this is the case, please let me know and we can take a look.
Auto-play videos was always off for me. Comparing to X for example, Primal used 40gb of data while X used 10gb. I have between 8-10 relays setup. Maybe Primal downloads things from all the relays and this causes a high amount of traffic data? Does the usage of more/less relays affect the data usage?
Having more relays could possibly force more data consumption
