The human mind evolved to keep us safe. That’s it’s priority. To ensure our survival. It didn’t evolve to understand the universe. It didn’t evolve to seek truth. It sought ways to keep us safe, relentlessly. Now, while that’s true, we can still use our minds for those things. We can seek truth, we can seek to understand the universe or many other things, but you must keep in mind the margin of error in our thought processes. This is what Socrates realized and many others, myself included. I know that I know nothing, not because I’m not intelligent, but because my intelligence is rooted in a flawed mind that used flawed reasoning to come to flawed conclusions.. regardless of how real and truthful I believe them to be.

Just thinking out loud here. 😂😂😂

Yes. The flow of causality will have its way regardless of our opinions. Good principles are more likely to lead to favorable outcomes vs flawed principles and we will rather seek to calibrate our principles toward a better flow of events.
