I don't even know what pie plate she's talking about. But she doesn't know where the 9:1 balun is, so we play off each other. And I mean, seriously, she's always like, "I just want to get this 10m EFHW running! The band is wide TF open!" And I'm like, "The balun is in the damn ham radio box where it always is!" So yeah, it works out pretty well.
