The biggest obstacles to nostr adoption from Twitter users is a Twitter and it’s addictiveness in all the wrong ways. It takes quitting cold turkey to realize this. nostr:note1hptklflt7sl92rsws4u6s2mfl26tmq6myc3dpuejy3kml3tq5zxqaahfnn

Deleted it last night!! Got the itch but it's necessary

Good. People are beholden to their follower count.

It's hard to get most of my friends off there, because they are settled.

Yep. They’ll be the last to move and I could care less 😆

Good

It's like using Microsoft FrontPage 98 for your website

On my new phone, I installed Twitter but never got around to put in my credentials. As that makes it impossible to see single tweets that are linked to from nostr as it always tries to force me to finish setting the app up instead of showing me content, I even **deleted** the Twitter app to get a better Twitter experience.

Is linking to Twitter a problem? I don't think so. If people get stuck browsing Twitter whenever they get exposed, let them. I suspect those who don't are more valuable to nostr anyway.

I deleted my Twitter account cold turkey too.

You missed the opportunity to get kicked off Twitter?

Yeah. Never got kicked off. Stay toxic. Lol

Agreed. Twatter is a good place for building immunity via taking on toxins head on. And maybe influencing and changing some minds…maybe. But it’s a rough and friction-filled place.

Also loaded with psyops! All designed to divert, distract, demoralize and denigrate you.

Here we have good vibes and constructive building.
