banks in the classical sense are very useful. in the modern sense they are awful and exploitative. not so interesting or original a take, I’m afraid.
This is actually an important point. It will help us make a case if we don’t vilify but instead acknowledge how this situation has organically arisen from what used to be a good idea.
But depending on the take it will wind people up. Here is an example: how can bitcoin ever replace credit and money creation? I am very winded up.
