Being a Bitcoiner during wartime of my country (Israel) is very hard psychologically.

Everything is so emotional and nobody even tries to make logical arguments. It doesn’t matter if you want your side to completely surrender to the enemy’s demands, or to escalate the war and try to annihilate the enemy with possible warcrimes - the only way normies express their opinions is by demonstrating, striking (following their union’s leader), voting in surveys and blabbering over the TV and social media.

They are completely oblivious to the financial incentives that run the war the way it is. They completely ignore the option of signaling to the leadership: “If you continue to ignore what we have to say, you will lose control over the money”.

A few people leave to other countries which does have a financial signal, but you really need a good second-language and a mobile job to make that step.

It’s just sad. It feels this war is kind of an experiment for what some are planning for the rest of the world if the economy starts to crumble. It’s very different from the previous wars Israel had. nostr:note1atr7d7ls4czgqeytaq2y37xx9aypwz9czzv8zd4zd0g59g40fvxq7akcd6

The people of a country which is justifying torture and mass murdering of other people will never find peace and will never be able to think rationally and clearly. They will be always more fantasized and more traumatized so they will be easily manipulated.

You talking about Iran? Syria?Lebanon? Yemen? Maybe Russia or China?

Or the Islamist revolution in Bangladesh that’s hunting down Hindus?

A terror group murdering 1000 and kidnapping hundreds, rejecting the red-cross doctors and executing the hostages, could happen anywhere.

How would your government respond?

The kidnapping sucks, but is important to understand that it doesn't come out of nothing. You can't expect to be living peaceful and normal lives while you are a colonizing state which tortures and murders the native population in a daily basis. Violence will always reach Israeli citizens one way or the other.

It has nothing to do with any “torture”or “murder” done by Israel.

In fact the Gaza strip was an example for how Israel agrees to withdraw its entire population and let the Palestinians establish their own governance on their Judenfrei land. If it had been successful, most Israelis would have voted for more withdrawals.

It has everything to do with political Islam going berserk in this late-stage fiat era.

It seems from your profile that you live in Europe. The population collapse in Europe and your leaders opening the gates to crazy Islamists from all over the world, will end in violence.

Religious extremism always leads to problems and violence, same for radical Islam, radical Judaism or radical Christianism. Is always easy to just blame the other side and pretend that your side is the right one and has justifiable reason for committing atrocities, but that is the easy way and will never bring to peace, only to more violence and war. Don't matter what you want to blame, it will never justify torturing and mass murdering unarmed innocent civilians.

It’s not the same. It’s not symmetric with Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, etc. The radical branches of Islam are currently much more dangerous and don’t have a serious opposition from within, nor the self-criticism to admit that political Islam leads to chaos followed by totalitarianism. Consider this as a new viking religion. It’s incompatible with lasting peace with other faiths, just like communism is incompatible with accumulation of private capital.

It’s not an “Arab Spring” or “Bangladeshi democratic uprising” or “Yemenite freedom fighters”.

Well, I guess we won't agree, but at least in here we can discuss about this subject in a civilized way, I don't know if it would be possible somewhere else on the internet.

Oren my friend many Muslims aided Jews in WWII to flee persecution. G-d cannot change any people until first they change in their own self

Some muslim did, but in the local vicinity, the Palestinian leadership of Amin al-Husseini collaborated with the germans.

Anyways, this was a long time ago, before the experiment of 1971. And many years before that, the swedes used to be vikings, so? People and cultures change.

It’s also interesting that you avoid writing God’s name, but claim that he/she is not omnipotent 🤷‍♂️

Hopefully this war comes to an end soon. Nobody is benefiting from it…extremely sad.

This is a global problem. It's the same around the world. People cannot think past direct reasoning and fall prey to the divide and conquer tactics

Bitcoin is for enemies and fixes this. Imagine Sinwar and Bibi holding keys in a multisig with 100k Bitcoin. In order to benefit and spend from the Bitcoin they must compromise with each other. Imagine the game theory play out where human greed must balance with nationalist hatred. If they are unwilling to compromise, other Israelis and Palestinians will see them as a failure and their keys become a target. What is needed is to set up multisig wallets with enemies.
