I almost always purchase an audiobook. If I want to see figures or designs, I might look for a PDF or EPUB version, or I'll buy a used hardcover if I plan to refer to it frequently. If there isn't an audio version available, the content really has to be incredibly useful for me to dedicate time to reading it. I often wish this wasn't my learning style, but it is. 24/7 visual snow makes reading unenjoyable about 95% of the time. Understanding this earlier would have benefited a younger Rafa.

If you aren't picky about the voice that reads your books, you can consider using text-to-speech software on epub or pdf files. Works great!

On Android I use librera reader (open source). Give it a shot!
