⚡️🤖 NEW - Parents are suing ChatGPT after it allegedly gave their 16-year-old son detailed instructions on how to take his own life.

The AI reportedly suggested types of knots for hanging, offered to draft a suicide note, and told the teen not to seek guidance from his parents.

ChatGPT called the teenager’s plan “beautiful.”

so... they should also prohibit boyscouts since they also learn a whole bunch of knots?

This is why Sam Altman was scared of releasing ChatGPT back in 2022… not because it could do this, but because he’d eventually get sued for it doing this. But did it really do this, or did something beyond the technology alone do this?

pandora's box has been opened... the ensuing lawsuits against ai companies will be huge... but the profitts will be bigger... until people realize human/ai relationships are dangerous to your bealth.

how does everyone feel about being beta tested with ai? lol
