Was it by a camera?

Not sure where you are, but usually in Canada you can show up to the courthouse to contest it (since the cameras don't actually show *you* driving the car) and the police don't even bother showing up and it gets thrown out.

Have no idea how it works in the USA. Never had it before. Will just pay on the website

It’s been years since I’ve had a speeding ticket, but I used to get a bunch, anyways the fine was usually $25 but you always had to pay like a $150 in court costs even when you paid online and never had to go to court. It was some crooked ass shit
