Centralized regulation is not the only way to fight against monopoly, and more likely than not, it results in even more monopoly.

If you believe that there are enough non-corrupt, wise humans, you can stop the monopoly by just saying NO, NO to buy it's products and NO to work for it. No regulation required.

If you believe that there are too few non-corrupt, wise humans, then the government, and politicians also are corrupt. In that case centralized regulation will be used, to strengthen the monopoly.

Good humans create good times on earth.

Bad humans create bad times.

Regulation doesn't make bad humans good.

Wanna create a better earth? Work on yourself, unless you believe that you can change others 😅.

The right definition of monopoly is not when there is only one producer in a given market, a monopoly IS a privilege given by the state to only one party.

The fact that tere is only one buisiness providing a good or service, if done in freedom (no state involved), only speaks about how well and efficient that buisiness is at using scarse resources to provide that good or service.

You don't even need a non-corrupt entrepreneur, freedom creates good humans and good buisiness. Government creates corrupt humans and corrupt, parasitic buisinessmen
