In which album should Metallica have retired?

Post: I don't dislike the last album given what's out there.

I would say black album although others more purist will tell you ...And Justice for All 🀣

yeah for this time all the legendary thrash metal bands start doing shit, Metallica, Sepultura, Megadeth... i am always listening to albums older than 1996

After AJFA

A lot of people say St . Anger but that was the first album I ever bought with my own money , and I only bought it because I thought they were the Foo Fighters.

I cant stand the Foo Fighters and Grohl specifically anymore, but I still listen to a few tracks of St Anger. Ive heard all their albums BEFORE that one, but none after. How many albums have they put out since then?

Death Magnetic (2008)

Hardwired... to Self-Destruct (2016)

72 Seasons (2023)

Certainly all three much better than St. Anger.

After my point of view, good albums, although obviously far from the freshness of the 80's.

Turkey flat earthing much?

And Justice For All

Answering with a libertarian mind, that's a collectivist question that makes no sense. We are nobody to judge that.

With my heart... I wouldn't keep much of what came after "...And Justice for all".

After Black Album I stopped listening.

Still a huge fan of everything that came before 🀘

IMO Master of Puppets because Cliff Burton died

Agree RIP Cliff

You are of the hard branch. πŸ˜‚

Garage days πŸ€™

I feel that they peaked with S&M .. I still enjoy the other albums though πŸ€™πŸΌ

Ride the lightning ⚑⚑⚑ will always be my favourite album.

I'm glad they didn't stop, I enjoy some of the newer stuff. And they still kick ass playing live.
