⚡️U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced yesterday that effective immediately, DoD Components and Military Departments will no longer use official resources, to include working hours, to celebrate Cultural Heritage Months, with servicemembers and civilians still permitted to attend celebrations and events when off duty. These Cultural Heritage Months include but are not limited to:

-National African American/Black History Month

-Women’s History Month

-Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

-Pride Month

-National Hispanic Heritage Month, -National Disability Employment Awareness Month

-National American Indian Heritage Month
