Do you think it’s notable they’re having this falling out on Twitter and not Nostr? I wish we could do a study to see if the business model incentives of Twitter bring out the more caustic side of people vs the more sociable incentives of Nostr.

Definitely possible. But it’s also possible that the lack of an engagement farming algo, a sense of personal ownership in what is essentially a digital settlement of infinite size, emerging economic opportunities which require cooperation, and a base level culture of good vibes could result in more civil behavior. People argue. That’s not going away and it shouldn’t. But I pop into X for five minutes and I wanna take a shower. 😂 Maybe this moment in time is lightning in a bottle and the goodness can’t scale. But it would be pretty rad if it could.
