In Miami on business for a few days. Maybe I’ve spent too long in the jungle but I just can’t relate to the big cities anymore. It feels so weird here. It’s like there’s a lot of stuff everywhere but it feels empty.

Rural v city is a legit culture divide.
Indeed. I grew up in NYC but escaped as quickly as I could. Sometimes I feel trapped between the two cultures. Hard to bridge that gap.
That’s kind of my issue right now. I worked remote traveling through Latin America for 13 months and now back in nyc and it doesn’t feel like it can be longterm. Hopefully I can find more permanent remote work so I can back and forth
It’s the sensory overload that’s the problem. 3 days is about my max these days. 2 weeks and I think I’d crawl outta my skin.
