I have some digital books that I would like to start reading, can someone recommend me which version of the Kindle device or another is good for this purpose? It’s just to read books.

I just purchased a new kindle. If you are going to just use it for books and maybe some light social media then the Amazon fire is good. Biggest downside is the proprietary apps that you have to use. I was looking at the option of the new Kindle Paper white and I think it’s a good option, I see that you can upload books from other sources also even from Apple Books. I just want to read books or pdf. How did yours turn out?
