It hadn’t really occurred to me that we can change our inner voice to sound like a different voice.

I mean, it’s logical and not very surprising but we always pick our own voice instead of someone else’s.

Try Morgan Freeman, it's awesome!

Just did

Too slow.

until you realise there are people who don't have an inner monologue

That doesn’t make any sense. I can’t comprehend it.

I've always wondered how deaf people process information internally. The thought that people who can hear didn't have their own monologue is ever more baffling, agreed.

Bro I just posted the same thought

Whoa

my inner voice also says it can not understand this.

I pick the voice of someone else when I imagine that person speaking or thinking

👀

Steve Andreas wrote a 2 Volume Book Series Called, "Transforming Negative Self-Talk" best book series I've ever read on changing self talk. He has people do exercises that changes the voice into other peoples voices, change the location, volume, the direction it's coming from, etc... best material I've ever seen on self talk.

I want to say “cool, I’ll check it out” because it sounds interesting but I have to be honest that I won’t. Any tldr; ?

For me, using some other voice then the "automatic" one uses too much processing power, so usually I just go with the default one

Wifes voice is overwhelming, out loud everywhere and also in my head all the time.

I guess it's love 😏
