Here's a little proof of rain from the "desert"....

San Miguel is the common name for the vine with fluorescent pink flowers.

The mesquite, Terrote, elephant tree and roads all greened up.

That large mesquite looked dead for many years, roots exposed and then this year it comes back to life. True survivors out here.
