Did u tried Gemini Pro? It’s kinda cheap and imo at the same level as openai

gemini is rubbish at code compared to claude and gpt-4o

none of them are any good without an agent to control the queries

Claude Code is a great agent for coding. The Claude Sonnet models are also superior to pair with your agent.
