The Bitcoin Effect: Reshaping Entrepreneurial Motivation

As a budding entrepreneur, I've noticed a shift in my approach to business ideas. Pre-Bitcoin (P.B.), I'd meticulously analyze potential ventures. Now, in the After-Bitcoin (A.B.), I find myself questioning the value of traditional business models.

Consider this:

• P.B.: Idea → Cost-benefit analysis → Decision

• A.B.: Idea → "Is it better than investing in Bitcoin?" → Often, no

Example: Creating an ebook. The effort of writing, marketing, and hoping for sales often results in minimal profit. Instead, I'm tempted to simply invest in Bitcoin.

While this simplifies decision-making, I wonder: Are we losing incentives to create and innovate?

What's your take? Has Bitcoin changed your approach to business ideas?

Perhaps your AB strategy filters out the ideas that were a waste of time and effort anyway.

Also, as your bitcoin value rises you are more free to undertake the things that bring you joy, instead of worrying about the financial feasibility of it.

Good questions!

But, i think, this analysis is only necessary/valid if you still have fiat-money to invest.

Without fiat-savings your capital is your time and your ability to create and work - getting paid in BTC then solves also the fiat-issues regarding incentives and value.
