Top two good. Bottom two bad. Bottom two are looking down slightly but so is top left. However, he has a light color background, like top right.

I'd say the opposite. These two at the bottom feel like that they were nice until someone/thing forced them to take action. Become badass.
Suited lady possibly bad. I get freedom fighter vibes from top left man and bottom left lady. Bottom right man good turned bad (or vice-versa)…
My bet is they are all good.
ie when you think about Neuromancer, weren't the main characters basically exactly like these four?
