for societies that already have a drug problem, there’s no benefit to criminalizing “drugs”; for example, the “war on drugs” was a net negative, and it was also a great evil in how it enabled grave injustices towards unprivileged communities. also, look at how “they” used weed to incarcerate people for decades…for weed.
