I like the interface of Satellite best but seeing a stream of npub strings is anything but simple. makes it only usable for people who are cosy with staring at code...

That's what I meant lol. Simple at the code level. But that's part of why there are a lot of times others don't work at all and satellite does. Still much room for improvement of course
a simple solution would be to just display a message like "Satellite can't display reposts, open this in ... app instead"
Building on the simplicity of that, you know the little popup you get from the burger menu on each post in satellite? The one that lets you copy the nevent ID or get a direct link or whatever. Another link could just be added in there to a more feature rich client or a hub like njump
