Vegas doesn't seem like the best place for a Bitcoin conference.

In fact, it's a wretched and miserable city that represents everything Bitcoin stands against.

That's why I'm going.

We can stay in our echo chambers where it's safe or run toward the sound of the battle.

Was a low IQ take on Twitter. Is on Nostr, too.

Vegas is a tourist destination. Outside of that couple square miles is a very vibrant and diverse city. It's also very heavy populated with veterans having multiple bases nearby, nuclear labs, and more.

It's a shame you're so short sighted.

Yeah I cross pollinate and am definitely a retard. ✊

I'm familiar with the city, have lived near it and have many friends there.

My point is, boycotting a Bitcoin conference because we disagree with the location selection is counterproductive.

Thank you for the opportunity to expand on my pithy, unclever comment.

Meet me there and I'll have a free nostr:nprofile1qqsgpf4x2am7hn5l0kwqaln352u6hvqx72ds0udflcqe0sed2d4f0cspzdmhxue69uhhqatjwpkx2urpvuhx2ue0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qghwaehxw309aex2mrp0yhxummnw3ezucnpdejz7yf7swf T-shirt for you.

interesting ... I had the same thought as the first half, but didn't get to the second half...
