Fiat wealth vs. Bitcoin wealth

Fiat:

- Tax deferred retirement account (401K or IRA) 60% equities, 40% bonds.

- Equity in a home leveraged in a HELOC and invested in equities.

- Portfolio of rental homes.

- Savings account with ~6 months cash

- Good job plus a side hustle

Bitcoin:

- Equity in a home, un-levered

- Fat stack of Bitcoin

- Tax deferred retirement account mostly invested in Bitcoin related products

- Fiat checking account for incidentals (will become unnecessary over time)

So long as the rate of return on Bitcoin stays consistently above every other asset, why own anything else (aside from maybe a home to raise a family in). As the market wakes up to this more value will accrue to Bitcoin and other assets will reprice. Once everything has accrued to Bitcoin other investments will become interesting again but early Bitcoiner’s won’t need to invest unless that is a passion for them. They are more likely to spend the Bitcoin on generous gifts to their community or making the world a more beautiful place. Picture the cathedrals, fountains and city gates of renaissance Europe spread all across the world. Prices fall every year. People earn and save hard money. Entrepreneurs develop space travel and other new technologies we haven’t even dreamt of. Government shrinks to protect life, liberty and property and almost nothing else.
