I looked at his NIP05, infered that he was in the social-dot-lol instance, went to that website and searched for timapple. It worked 🤣

It's harder to find rando cool people. Maybe easier on Nostr since the crowd is a little smaller. But I usually read a blog post, then see if the author is on Nostr or Masto.

But if I communicate with someone on one Mastodon instance from nostr and then talk to someone on a different one it looks like it automatically creates a new account for each one. That’s kind of a terrible UX.
