I live in a cheap apartment and I have to hand wash my dishes in a shallow single basin sink.
It sucks when I put off doing dishes for too long because then there is so much silverware to wash.
If you don't have a dishwasher you know what I mean.

I have an old house and I am in a similar predicament. And for even more fun, my counterspace is about 30", half of which is used by the drying rack. So i cant really put off doing dishes more than a day.
Shallow sinks are a drag.
I remember getting assigned to kitchen duty at a dharma retreat. We were asked to hold an attitude that everything is sacred. Thus I learned the zen of dishwashing. ✨
