But it broke my heart when I studied it at university. Ending up switching to Economics as I was unable to pass a model on Proofs and Abstract Mathematics. I got like 40% was like fuck this, I suck. Let me do an easier course one I have chance of getting a good grade in.

That happened to me by algebra. Turns out, I’m only good at money math.

Understand I am really good with numbers. Human calculator some might say.

Couldn’t do advanced mathematical proofs to save my life though.

That’s awesome. Bet it’s more common than we were led to believe.

I know many peers from my first year of university who quit or switched courses. Mathematics has like 25% drop out rate in first year.

No kidding. Glad you made it.

I didn’t I switched to economics in my second year 😂

Yeah but it sounds like it worked out.

Sure felt like a complete failure at the time. But looking back now glad it happened.

That’s life.

I don’t think I failed enough early on. What will be will be.

Failure forward.

It’s cliche but it’s true.

Failing means you have pushed yourself and gone beyond the comfort zone.

No growth without failure.

Relating

How so?

I had a similar heartbreak in University

With maths or a woman ? 😂

lmao, both

Me as well 😂
