What about as the HWW for an offline multisig Electrum wallet? I have some old units I would like to put to some use but share your concerns.
The trust with Ledger is broken and thus the weak point of your setup.
Doesn’t seem very appealing I tried it once and it was not appealing, but it was a long time ago
It's not just that it has the wrong focus (crypto) which makes it's bitcoin offering weak, but it's insecure by design.
In fact, ledger is pretty competitive. It's definitely better than no HW at all.
Where do you point new coiners with limited funds?
