I've only watched the newer HxH, although that's very dark as well obviously, it's not nearly as dark visually as the older one from what I've seen

In the scene at the end of Hunter Exam, when Killua is confronted by his brother, everyone’s eyes get real bulgy and the storyboars startd playing with camera angles. The entire setting is drenched in red, and crows fly up as Illumi leaves.

It’s almost identical to what Naruto does with similar scenes.

I’m not the first person to notice the plagiarism, it’s pretty much impossible to miss once you connect a few dots, as if glowing red eyes as a source of power wasn’t already on the nose enough.

I’m anti copyright so I don’t even care that Naruto copied the HxH anime. I just think it was way worse, even though Kishi’s manga art is better than Togashi’s.
